We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic and most of all a people person who is ready to join our team as a Sponsorship & Public Relations Coordinator in Winnipeg. Join APTN, one of Canada’s top employers;
Review, evaluate and provide written responses to all incoming partnership and sponsorship requests;
Draft and ensure fulfillment of partnership agreements and contracts. This includes maintaining, coordinating, planning and executing sponsorship requests and initiatives, activating promotions and events, recording, compiling and distributing relevant project results and reports;
Write, edit and develop grant applications and sponsorship proposals and identifies funding opportunities;
Maintain and foster relationships with partners at all levels and provide them with ongoing support;
Develop, create and maintain a database of contacts within the Indigenous community;
Represent APTN at events and travel nationally;
Assist in developing a sponsorship strategy and budget.
Your accomplishments and experience include:
Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline and proven related experience;
A love what you do attitude;
Valid Driver’s license;
Proficiency with internet, E-mail and other business related computer software;
Experience with an Indigenous organization and culture.
