“The Rehabilitation Centre for Children offers a wealth of services in support of helping children in Manitoba and surrounding areas reach their full potential,” said Goertzen.  “We look forward to working with the board and its new members.”

Located in Winnipeg, the RCC provides innovative clinical service, education, research and technologies to children in need including but not limited to biomedical engineering and prosthetics.  Its board is responsible for the control and management of the centre including oversight of its budget and employment of senior staff.  The board falls under the authority of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

“I am honoured to be given the opportunity to serve and help guide the Rehabilitation Centre for Children.  The RCC is a first-class organization and a true treasure in our community that supports children and their families who have unique needs,” said Chudley.  “I thank the minister for the appointment and I look forward to working with other members of the board, administration and professional staff to support the many families throughout the province who use the expert services offered at the RCC.”
