Tuesday, June 16th was another beautiful sunny day in Manitoba as the Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce hosted their 9th Annual Golf tournament at Larter’s Golf & Country Club in St. Andrews, Manitoba. Larters is located 10 Minutes north of Winnipeg and where Marshall McCorrister scored his first HOLE IN ONE! Marshall is the Administrator at The Peguis Senior Centre and played with the Modern Clan Marketing Communications team which is the team that came in first place in the Texas Scramble tournament. When asked what it was like to shoot his first hole in one, Marshall said “It was like winning the lottery!” Savvy enough, the team caught the hole in one on video and can be found on his facebook page for his friends to enjoy.

The guest list was up to 28 registered teams with a few more guests who joined for dinner. Larter’s Golf Course has hosted the Chamber’s golf tournament for the last nine years. ACC would like to send a shout out to Larter’s Golf Shop Manager, Peter Ewert and the very accommodating staff.

The photographer for the day was Miss Deanna Faith Mousseau, a recent graduate of PrarieView School of Photography here in Winnipeg. Thank you Deanna!
