(February 7, 2025 – Treaty No. 1 Territory, Winnipeg, Manitoba) – The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) will host a press conference on February 10, 2025, at the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Office, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to announce the launch of the Removed Child and Removed Child Family Class Compensation Claims Process, scheduled to open on March 10, 2025.

AFN National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Grand Chief Kyra Wilson, Chief Derek Nepinak, Settlement Implementation Committee, and Dean Janvier, Deloitte, will address the media and provide key information to ensure Claimants and their families are informed and prepared.
