Auditor General releases mid-term update

WINNIPEG – Auditor General Tyson Shtykalo today released his Mid-Term Update, reflecting on the achievements of the past five years and outlining priorities for the next five.
In Manitoba, Auditor General’s serve 10-year terms. October marks the mid-way point of Shtykalo’s term.
“Over the past five years, we’ve helped improve services and programs that matter to Manitobans,” the Auditor General said. “We’ve also strengthened how we operate as an Office.”
Looking ahead, Shtykalo said his focus will be on building momentum—enhancing the impact of the Office’s work and expanding its capacity to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
“I look forward to continuing to serve Manitobans by promoting government accountability and excellence in public administration,” he said.
