A. INTRODUCTION

The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) requires graphic design services, and an experienced graphic designer(s) to assist initially with a logo refresh that can be used to create a web banner, social media banners, email banner, PowerPoint template, and Word templates.

C: MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of experience
Applicants must provide a curriculum vitae (cv) indicating all relevant experience in graphic design, and experience working with a First Nation organization
Applicants must provide two (2) samples of projects/work completed and two references

D: SELECTION CRITERIA

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

A proven record of creating high-quality print and digital materials
A collaborative spirit that prioritizes client input and timely communication
An ability to work within the budgetary constraints of a nonprofit organization

Southern Chiefs’ Organization was established in 1999 to represent the 34 Anishinaabe and Dakota First Nation communities in what is now called southern Manitoba and to protect, preserve, promote, and enhance inherent rights, languages, customs, and traditions through the spirit and intent of the Treaty-making process.
