An Indigenous health care company is putting out the call to help them ‘save Christmas’ for thousands of children in northern Manitoba communities hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Canadian Armed Forces has members in the fly-in community of Shamattawa First Nation and soon will be in Red Sucker Lake First Nation in an effort to contain outbreaks. Seeing the need, soldiers at CFB Shilo near Brandon undertook their own toy drive which wrapped up Saturday.
