Moose hunting season now open in Manitoba – CBC

Moose hunting season has officially opened in Manitoba.

Licensed hunters can officially hunt moose starting Monday, and the province said conservation officers will be deployed to ensure hunting regulations are followed and that there is access to game hunting areas.

This comes following a recent court decision in the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench allowing Bloodvein First Nation to keep a blockade up near their community.
