SCO Provides Wellness Workshops

Along with their compassionate crisis response, intervention, and case coordination services, the Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) Mobile Crisis Response Team also provides workshops and training.

SCO First Nations can receive presentations or training in the following areas:
~Grief and loss
~Addictions and/or harm reduction
~Anger management and/or domestic violence
~Vicarious trauma
~Suicide prevention
~Wellness and healthy lifestyle
~Bullying
~Burn out
~Anxiety and depression

The team is made up of qualified Anishinaabe, Dakota, and other professionals trained in culturally appropriate trauma-informed practices.
