Update-Thompson RCMP looking for missing male youth

Kash Linklater has been safely located. The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.

On July 12, 2023, at approximately 2:35 pm, Thompson RCMP received a report of a missing 15-year-old male. Kash Linklater, of Thompson, was last seen on July 12, 2023, walking south on Highway 6 near Paint Lake. Police attended and patrolled the area. Linklater was not located. Police believe he was attempting to hitchhike.

Linklater is described as 5’7″ tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan hat, a beige shirt with a Hawaiian shirt over top, and he was carrying a backpack with a sleeping bag inside.
