Eligible Manitobans can begin booking their first dose appointments at the Selkirk supersite today.  The site, located at the former Selkirk and District General Hospital, will begin providing immunizations on Monday, March 8. An update will be provided when Manitobans can begin booking appointments at the Morden supersite.

Beginning this week, several northern communities will use Vaxport to access immunizations at the nearby supersite in Thompson. The first communities participating in this pilot phase include Wabowden, Herb Lake Landing, Snow Lake, Grand Rapids and Misipawistik. Communities were selected based on their readiness and ability to travel for the vaccine. Additional information about Manitoba’s immunization strategy for the north will be released in the coming days.
