Man dead after dog attack on Manitoba First Nation – CTV News

A 56-year-old man died last month following a dog attack on a Manitoba First Nation.
According to RCMP, the man was attacked by five dogs at a home on Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation on Feb. 21.
When officers got to the scene, they found him lying motionless and face down in the snow while the dogs attacked him.
EMS could not get out of their vehicle due to concerns for their safety but attempted to distract the dogs with an airhorn and siren.
As an officer got out of his car, he yelled at the dogs to get their attention off the victim. However, the dogs then became aggressive towards the officer.
